TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Showerline is an Australian company who prides their success on an unrelenting level of product quality.
All Showerline Polymarble bases are mixed, poured, cast and hand polished in Geelong, Victoria.
In adhering to the Australian consumer act, products are checked and covered by their own respective warranties. Due to a high standard of production, lack of product fault and performance certain warranties have increased for Showerline products.
The following terms and conditions outlay the product warranty and specific conditions they adhere to.

Polymarble Shower bases

Polymarble is a composite mixture of polyurethane resin with a gel coat surface, using various fillers to achieve strength and rigidity.
All Showerline Polymarble bases have a 15 year product replacement warranty. All Showerline Polymarble bases purchased previously to the 26/02/18 have a warranty of 7 years.

Shower Bases: 15 year Repair or Replacement Warranty Period.
Shower Screens (glass excluded): 1 year Repair or Replacement Warranty Period.
Acrylic Shower Wall Liners: 1 year Repair or Replacement Warranty Period.
Sanitary Grade Acrylic Freestanding Baths: 1 year Repair or Replacement Warranty Period.

Site Call Outs

If a warranty claim has been executed, Showerline will charge $120.00 plus GST to all applications which have been proven to be not a fault of manufacture or flaw in production. It is the consumer’s responsibility to advise the tradesperson (plumber) that has installed the product the fault which has occurred for investigation of the labour which has been undertaken.

Warranty Conditions

Showerline will not accept any claims of warranty where the following conditions and terms have not been met
• A valid receipt with a visible date (proof of purchase) has been issued.
• The product has not been installed by a licensed plumber
• Where a qualified plumber has not adhered to the plumbing code of Australia or not correctly installed the product as displayed on the website.
• The goods have not been cleaned with the approved Showerline cleaning and protective product with a soft non-abrasive towel.
• The goods have been treated with harsh or abrasive cleaners such as bleach, ammonia and other products of this nature. The use of an abrasive scorer or harsh cloth has been used on the surface.
• If the bases is not supported on a level even surface (substrate).
• If the product is stored incorrectly before installation.

Warranty Parameters

Showerline is limited to provide repair or replacement in the following events.
• Showerline is not responsible for any cease of performance of goods or damages where the products of Showerline have been used incorrectly, misused or adapted in anyway.
• Showerline does not cover any instance of any issue through any products integrated or used in accordance with, not specified by Showerline.
• Showerline does not cover labour cost for any circumstance where the product has been misused or used with unspecified products.
• Showerline is not responsible for any freight damage or site damage.
• Showerline will not replace any product which was installed with a visible fault.
• Showerline will not replace any product still sealed that has not been checked by the consumer within 24hours of receiving the product and is found to have a fault.
• Showerline will not offer the warranty of 15 years to all products purchased before the date of 26/02/18.

Warranty does not cover glass which cannot be warranted. Does not cover misuse, abuse, wear & tear or incomplete return of product. In order to claim under Manufacturer’s Warranty, please fill in the Showerline warranty information below. The consumer is responsible for expenses associated with a warranty claim, not Showerline. The warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies available to the consumer under the law. If goods are found to be defective or faulty, Showerline retains the right to repair or replace product at our discretion. All Showerline plumbing products are to be installed by a qualified plumber. Failure to do so will void warranty. A Certificate of Compliance from your plumber will be required for any warranty claim. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
